If you are a new user, please jump to point 1.
If you are already a FoxyTag user, download the latest version at http://tinyurl.com/2n2ov6 (0.7.1 - Bluetooth GPS) or http://tinyurl.com/34tg5v (0.7.2 - Integrated GPS) with the browser of your mobile phone, and the user's guide with the browser of your computer.
1 - Configure your mobile
Activate Bluetooth on you mobile, go at http://tinyurl.com/38tn7z with the browser of your mobile phone, then download and execute the FoxyTest application. If you cannot download the program, check with your phone operator that your subscription allows you to access to the Internet. FoxyTest checks that your mobile phone implements the specifications required by FoxyTag. If the application answers that everything is OK, go directly to point 2.
If FoxyTest says that your Internet parameters are not correct, get them by SMS via the website of your mobile phone operator or your mobile phone manufacturer and restart FoxyTest. If it still does not work, follow the instructions given at point 1 in the Nav4All website or at amAze and restart again. If the problem is still not solved, check at the Forum.
2 - Try FoxyTag
FoxyTag needs a GPS to function. If your phone does not have an integrated one and if you do not have a Bluetooth one, follow the instructions given here to get one. Download the application from http://tinyurl.com/2n2ov6 (Bluetooth GPS) or http://tinyurl.com/34tg5v (integrated GPS) with the browser of your mobile phone. Note that some Nokia S60 phones (N95, 6110 Navigator, ...) need sometimes S60SpotOn to work properly (see user's guide). With your computer, download the user's guide of FoxyTag that will explain you how to try FoxyTag. In case of a problem, visit the Forum.
3 - Use FoxyTag
Once you feel comfortable with FoxyTag, ask for a username and a password. You will therefore contribute by posting, confirming or deleting tags. The trust links that you will build with other users will allow you to get more reliable information. To get a username and a password, click here.
