Dear Friends,

Just installed FoxyTag with a Holux GPSlim 236 and noticed several issues:

1. When starting the application the software goes on "Connecting to GPS" and seems to never fund one, it basically freezes. It becomes necessary to hit menu, and lounch FoxyTag again. If the connection to the GPS was OK the program will continue and try to connect to the server, if not, you get the same frozen page again. I seems the program tries to connect to the GPS only when lounched, and no longer afterwards.

2. The server is rejecting my login with the same Username and Password (same upper and lower case letters) as I use to log on on the home PC. Why can I not delete it?

NOTE: I believe strongly in this technology and look forward to the improvements. Great job Guys. :D

Hello,

when you run FoxyTag for the first time you should have main menu first displayed.
If you connect a bluetooth GPS FoxyTag will save it and any time you start FoxyTag it will search the same GPS to connect.
If connection is not possible or it is broken FoxyTag will retry connection once par second.
My recomandations:
Waith few more seconds when you start GPS and run FoxyTag after.
Try to connect GPS before moving with the car.

Bluetooth connection will be bether in next version of FoxyTag.

- My username and my password do not work, what can I do?
Note that you have to obtain them from http://www.foxytag.com/en/telechargement.html, it is not possible to use the ones from the forum, for instance. Verify then the syntax (no spaces, no carriage returns, no uppercase letters...). If it still does not work, send an email to foxytagATcui.unige.ch and specify your username/password.
