Bonjour,

Merci d'avance..

Hello,

i'll speak English because we are in "English section".

FoxyTag cannot be installed because your mobile phone cannot run this application.

The problem is with CLDC configuration.

The file you tried to install (FoxyTag.jad) contains description of FoxyTag.

When you try to download it your installation manager (software on your mobile phone) will see that your phone cannot execute this application.

If you try to download FoxyTest it should work but when you execute FoxyTest it will say that your mobile phone is not compatible.

In short you can even not install FoxyTag if your mobile phone is not able to run it. That means you should have another mobile phone for FoxyTag.

So it is not a bug with FoxyTag but a question of compatibility.

For more information try to find out with google the difference between CLDC 1.0 and CLDC 1.1.

CLDC 1.1 is required if you want to use FoxyTag.

"CLDC 1.1 is required if you want to use FoxyTag."

...and just why do you exclude phones that have been top of the line two years ago?? Are you supported by phone manufacturers?
The Wayfinder Navigator runs perfectly on my Nokia 3230, don't tell me FoxyTag is more complicated than that.
You want people to participate? Well count me out! Guess what I'm going to do when my phone dies on me: I will buy the cheapest, dumbest phone I can find and "flip the finger" for FoxyTag, that's what!

No, I'm not supported by phone manufacturers. I'm only supported by benevolent people. So if you want to adapt FoxyTag for old phones, why not, join our team!

And, by the way, for the price you pay for Wayfinder each year, I think you can easily buy a not-too-old-phone so that you can run FoxyTag and a navigation tool like http://www.amazegps.com (freeware). Check at ebay (for instance, I'm not supported by ebay...), you'll find these kind of phones for about 25-30 €.
