Thanks, this fixed the problem..... just tested it on my Nokia N95.

I was confused as all other functions of the program seemed to work and so I thought.... RTFM when you have the time.

The update to FoxyTag 0.5.7 (internal GPS) did the trick :D

I just installed Foxtyag om my N95.

Everything works fine, however, the alarm test scared the living daylights out of me... Don't test this in an office environment ;)

Nokia V 11.0.026
Foxytag : FoxyTag_0.6.2_en

Now for the road test... I'll be back with info...

Me too - everythings fine with 0.6.2. I'm very suprised how many radar stations are already registered in rural germany.

I have noticed one problem, though. The phone lost the data connection and FoxyTag was not able to re-initiate it. I had to quit and restart the application.

@cas, @Salze: I know about the alarm, but on "old" phones, the alarm wasn't that loud. I added a volume parameters in the next version. If you are interested, become a beta-tester!: please just send me an email at foxytag at cui dot unige dot ch.

Is is possible to let FoxyTag work in background? I would like to use it during navigation with Nokia Maps. The navigation already works in background with FoxyTag in foreground.
Best would be if it would come to foreground when a Tag is near...

Not yet, but we are working on a solution. On my Navigator I use FoxyTag in foreground and listen to the voice navigation instructions given by my other application.

This works for TrackerTag, an alternative interface for Symbian phones.
