Speed checks over long distance

Over here we have a couple of places where the speed check is done by passing two checkpoints. They calculate the average speed over a stretch of a couple of km's.
How do you warn about things like this? Just slowing down for the first or second checkpoint won't do the trick...

Exact, you just drive slower all the time...

True, true. But wouldn't it be nice that you'd be reminded to drive slow all the time for the next 10 kilometers?

Yes, but do no forget that FoxyTag is meant to contribute to road safety, so you are meant to speeding only "accidentally"...

Sure, but I'm more interested in the hypothetical ways of using foxytag, more in the "what if" ways.
[off topic]
Things like: if all foxytag users submit their speed (automatically) to the server, you will know what the normal speeds are for a certain road section, and you can also tell when there are traffic jams. Or you can predict traffic jams by analysing the speed. The possibilities are many...

Correct. But to predict traffic jams we need more users. However, the architecture is generic and can deal with any kind of virtual tags. If the success of FoxyTag continues to grow up, then yes, it will be possible to have very interresting geo-referenced information, like traffic jams, dangers, new roads, cheap petrol stations, good restaurants...

And you can easily contribute to this success by widespreading FoxyTag, talking about it on your blog, contacting local radio or TV, posting topics in gps/cars/mobiles forums... Thank you in advance.
