Combining Foxytag with other databased GPS POI information

Postby Millionel » Wed Nov 14, 2007 1:14 am

Hello everyone,
hello Foxy,

first, i wanna say how god this idea of POI information is! It's fast, nearly always up to date and efficient. I hope this system will last for a long long time even with more users.

But I still got a question:

I'm planning to buy a BT GPS module and I was just wondering if I could use the Foxytag software with one of the GPS Radar Warnes called "GPS Reminder" and "XAiOX". These are BT GPS modules that are using some built in radar database to warn you from getting busted.
for more information in german see

Might there be a possibility to use both at the same time?

Thank you

Hi Millionel,

In your first link it is written "NMEA-0183 - GGA, GSA, GSV, RMC", which are the same NMEA sentences used by FoxyTag (RMC and GGA), so it should be OK.
