some questions to inputting tags

Hello,

I set up my phone with my username and password already; but I have some questions

a) which key should I use for input POIs on NOKIA E61 - should I use the "1" directly or the "blue key + "1" ?

b) is there any feedback reaction by the phone or the remote server (visual or sound) after entering a tag or how do I know that I did it correctly ?

c) Is the application able to run in the "background", so that I can use an Navi-Software like Route66 at the same time? (It seems that only one app can connect to the holux at a time...)

Thanks

tinko

Sorry Guys,
I dont want to disturb your conversation... But I would like to come back to my question, because of which I started this thread. (And yes - I started the search before, but there is no information about the E61 yet...)

The most important thing I would like to know is if there is any signal or notification for the user to know if the input of a tag has been succesful.

I need to know that so that I can figure out which keys to press on the E61

Greetings

tinko

hi Tinko

I try to reply to your questions. But if somebody owns a Nokia E61 and uses FoxyTag, he or she is very welcome to add their comments:

a) Use the same key as if you were dialing a number which you want to call

b) from the user's manual:

The application indicates how many messages are pending, with an "Unsent: n" message on the top of the screen, n being the number of pending messages.

you should also see a green arrow in the center of the circle.

c) probably depends on the phone. what is the error message if you first launch FoxyTag and then you launch Nav4all?

Hello, fdoctz

thanks a lot -now I'm begnining to understand the way it works more clearly.

I will check the key functionality as soon I'm on the road again and I see a new POI.

When Foxy is running in the fore ground and I try to start the route66 navi, I get the error message "could not set up Bluetooth connection". so it seems indeed that only one application at a time can connect to the Holux236.

Thanks so far

best greetings

tinko

That's correct - only 1 BT-Data-Connection at a time :-(
